Ranks I–X

Torchlight ranks are earned through active play, Tormentum, clans, and official events. They are progression — not a store purchase.

How progression works

Active playtime moves you forward, while later ranks ask you to participate in the parts of Torchlight that make the server a community. Once you earn a rank, normal inactivity does not automatically demote you.

What ranks unlock

Higher ranks increase your home limit and gradually unlock useful quality-of-life commands. Promotions also award one-time Trial Keys, claim blocks, Four Flames blessings, and cosmetics.

Join Torchlight

Base commands plus /tpaccept and /tpdeny.

Rank II

2 active hours

2 homesUnlock /tpa

Promotion: 10 Trial Keys, +500 claim blocks, 1 random Four Flames blessing, 1 random cosmetic.

III

Rank III

8 active hours + 1 Tormentum milestone

3 homesUnlock /back

Promotion: 30 Trial Keys, +750 claim blocks, 2 blessings, 2 cosmetics.

Rank IV

20 active hours + join/create a clan

4 homesUnlock /workbench

Promotion: 50 Trial Keys, +1,000 claim blocks, 3 blessings, 3 cosmetics.

Rank V

40 active hours + either 3 Tormentum milestones or 1 official event

5 homesUnlock /enderchest

Promotion: 70 Trial Keys, +1,500 claim blocks, 4 blessings, 4 cosmetics.

Rank VI

70 active hours + 3 total milestones

6 homesUnlock /hat

Promotion: 100 Trial Keys, +2,000 claim blocks, 5 blessings, 5 cosmetics.

110 active hours + 1 major event

7 homesPrestige progression

Promotion: 120 Trial Keys, +2,500 claim blocks, 6 blessings, 6 cosmetics.

VIII

Rank VIII

160 active hours + 12 total milestones + 10 Tormentum milestones

8 homesPrestige progression

Promotion: 150 Trial Keys, +3,000 claim blocks, 7 blessings, 7 cosmetics.

Rank IX

230 active hours + 15 total milestones + 2 major events

9 homesPrestige progression

Promotion: 200 Trial Keys, +4,000 claim blocks, 8 blessings, 8 cosmetics.

Rank X

320 active hours + 25 total milestones + 20 Tormentum milestones + 3 major events

10 homesHighest progression rank

Promotion: 250 Trial Keys, +5,000 claim blocks, 9 blessings, 9 cosmetics.

Milestones are recorded by Torchlight events and progression systems. Requirements may be tuned over time as the server grows; your earned rank is not automatically removed by normal inactivity.

`/mail`	Rank I+	Open TorchlightMail and collect rewards or purchases.
`/rank`	Rank I+	View Torchlight rank progress.
`/playtime`	Rank I+	View your playtime.
`/tpaccept`	Rank I+	Accept an incoming teleport request.
`/tpdeny`	Rank I+	Deny an incoming teleport request.
`/tpa <player>`	Rank II+	Request to teleport to another player.
`/back`	Rank III+	Return to your previous location.
`/workbench`	Rank IV+	Open a crafting table anywhere.
`/enderchest`	Rank V+	Open your Ender Chest remotely.
`/hat`	Rank VI+	Wear a compatible item as a hat.

Ranks are earned, shop items are optional.

The Torchlight shop supports the server with cosmetics and special optional items. It does not sell the Rank I–X progression ladder.
